..⁣⁣ ‘It’s not a community.⁣⁣ It’s a conspiracy.’⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Wolfhunter River by Rachel Caine.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I love the fast-paced, over the top, intense action this series book (and series) delivers! I love the main characters, I’m behind them 100%, they’ve been through the wars, and every time I’m rooting for them to come out the other side! This really is one for crime thrillers fans!⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ In this instalment, Gwen Proctor is still being hounded by vigilantes seeking to avenge her ex-husbands crimes. A threatened woman, from Wolfhunter River, reaches out to Gwen for help, and Gwen is about to find out just how small, and deadly, this small town (with an awesome name) is!⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I read this one right on time too, because the next in the series, publishes tomorrow. Do you have a favourite shelf? Not a shelf of favourite books but just a shelf you love the look of?⁣ ⁣ Pictured is mine! And that’s largely thanks to the cover of Daughters of Nri - I mean, that cover is 🔥!!!! And you’ve got Tomi Adeyemi holding it down at the end, incl. my B&N special Reaper edition of CoBB. I love the coloured spines of this shelf, it’s easily my favourite!⁣ ⁣ Fingers-crossed it becomes a favourite books shelf when I’ve actually read them all 🤞🏾 So far I’ve read, With The Fire On High, She Would Be King and Children of Blood and Bone and LOVED all three! Girl, Woman, Other is up next!

You’ll be ruling out characters, and then ruling them back in!⁣ ⁣ If you enjoyed Dirty Little Secrets, also by Spain, it’s likely you’ll enjoy this one too. Personal preference - I enjoyed DLS more. But I loved the ending of this one, it was so much better than I anticipated!

📚⁣⁣ How’s your Sunday going?⁣⁣ Today, I met up with my fave @bibliobeth, and we had the best pub lunch at Wetherspoons! We also hit up 66 Book Club as they had an 80% off everything sale!!⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ A #bookstack of my haul! The paperbacks are for my collections, all the hardbacks were on my wishlist, so it was a very intentional book buying session, and all for the small price of £18!⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ My wildcard pick was A Forger’s Tale by Shaun Greenhalgh. Shaun wrote this memoir whilst in prison!! He’s Britain’s most notorious and infamous forger - working out of a shed in his parent’s garden, his art successfully fooled some of the world’s greatest museums. ~~ It sounds so interesting, I couldn’t resist!

📦📚⁣ Anyone else addicted to book [box] swaps?⁣ I love them, and I’ve taken it global 😂.⁣ ⁣ Janelle - @shereadswithcats - is the US me (in name *although spelt different* and nature *lover of true crime & thrillers*). We’ve been talking online for ages now, so when Janelle suggested we do a bookish box swap, I was all over the idea!⁣ ⁣ And look at all the bookish goodness 😍 Books and bookmarks galore, mug, pin, board game AND my very first King tee!! Thank you so much Janelle for all my bits - I love it all! 💖⁣ ⁣ If you aren’t following @shereadswithcats already, you’re not even close to living your best life!
